Star in this party, il nuovo singolo dei Ridillo

È “Star in this party”(Cosmica/ed. Freecom Hub) il nuovo singolo dei RIDILLO, uscito ieri, per continuare a celebrare i #30annisuonati della storica funky band italiana. Una festa che, il 2 agosto, farà tappa all’Arena Bike-In di Mantova, per un concerto-evento che ripercorrerà i successi della band: 900 concerti, 112 canzoni registrate, 38 singoli, 8 album e 5 greatest hit. “Star in this party” è un altro tassello musicale nel fantastico mondo dei Ridillo, una specie di sogno musicale vintage à la Earth Wind & Fire/Delfonics, sontuosamente arrangiato e cantato in un languido falsetto. Un altro stile del funky, una ballad slow tempo, positiva e fiduciosa “se non ti senti a posto sei lo stesso una star in this party, anche se ti piace star in disparte”.

«Questo singolo è per tutti quelli che almeno una volta nella vita si sono sentiti fuori posto, inadeguati, trasparenti – spiega Daniele Bengi Benati– o che trasparenti avrebbero voluto essere in un momento sociale in cui spesso ci si deve adeguare a dei cliché. Per chi si sente offuscato dalle luci della festa ma, anche se non lo sa, è una stella che scintilla. Insomma, star in disparte. E star bene comunque».

Il video (qui sotto) racconta la sensazione di sentirsi fuori posto a volte, uno stato d’animo lontano dalla finta perfezione della vite raccontate sui social o dal divertimento costruito a tutti i costi.
